How InNae Programs Work

Students begin in age-appropriate classes, with instruction tailored to their stage of development. Classes are intentionally small, usually limited to 10 students each.

Age ranges are a guide, with placement based on each student’s readiness and development. Students progress at their own pace through our structured curriculum, with advancement based on demonstrated growth rather than time or attendance. Every belt is earned.

All programs also include opportunities to earn Life Skills Badges, plus Birthday Board Celebrations and anniversary recognition.

Training Beyond White Belt

White Belt is the traditional starting point for every martial artist. At InNae, it is an important stage of training where students build the foundation for everything that follows. Students develop at different rates, so the time spent at White Belt will vary greatly.

Martial arts culture, etiquette, and expectations have traditionally been passed from senior students to their juniors. At InNae, beginning at Yellow Belt, Junior, Teen, and Adult students become part of this tradition through mixed-rank training and regularly serving as Role Model Teaching Assistants in classes below their own rank. As they gain experience and responsibility, they further develop leadership, communication, and confidence.
